history

In 1793, the owner of the Schluesselburg estate, Johann Franz Christian von Swéerts-Sporck, had an ironworks built by the smelter Pachtner below the dam of the Zawieschiner pond. This was expanded under the barons Linker von Lützenwick . In 1805, the ironworks, which had become uneconomical , were leased to Johann Nepomuk Nádherný , who also ran the Žďár nad Sázavou ironworks .

In 1840 the Eisenhammer industrial estate belonging to the village of Zawieschin consisted of eleven houses. It was divided into the emphyteutized iron hammer, the aristocratic armory consisting of two houses and two Dominical houses to the west. The iron hammer was leased to Johann Prokop Hartmann Graf von Klarstein and consisted of a blast furnace, two rod hammers and seven residential buildings. The parish was Bieltschitz . Until the middle of the 19th century, Eisenhammer remained subordinate to the rule of Schlüsselburg.

After the abolition of patrimonial Eisenhammer formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Závěšín in the district administration and the judicial district Blatná. It reached its heyday in the middle of the 19th century and produced 9,800 quintals of iron goods a year. As a result of the iron crisis, the company went out in the last third of the 19th century. After that, the water power from the dam of the Závišínský potok was used to operate a mill. This ceased operations after the Second World War and fell into disrepair. In the course of the abolition of the Okres Blatná Hutě was assigned to the Okres Strakonice in 1960. On November 26, 1971 Hutě was incorporated into Bělčice together with Závišín. In 2009 the mill was demolished.
