IC 3734 is a faintly luminous galaxy in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 307 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 20,000 light-years across. Together with IC 813 , it forms a gravitationally bound galaxy pair.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 3762 , IC 3679 , IC 3691 , IC 3776 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on January 27, 1904 .
