IC 4750 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Peacock in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 211 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 70,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies IC 4744 , IC 4749 , IC 4759 , IC 4760 .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on July 20, 1901 .
