I marry my wife is a German television film by director Christine Kabisch from 2007. The film is a sequel to the film The Dream of the South .

Henriette continues to help enthusiastically in daughter Elke's pastry shop. Werner without a task and alone, Henriette tries to win back. But then he imagines there is competition in the wealthy Prince Abdul Al Hakim, who has just ordered 500 cakes from the pastry shop for a royal wedding in Saudi Arabia. The Prince reminds Henriette of Omar Sharif and it seems to have sparked. Werner, who is supported by his mother-in-law Mimi, daughter Elke and son Thomas in his efforts to help Henriette, does not want to give up, although his wife keeps him at a distance. Ultimately, his wife forgives him and they both move in together again. Before that, they renew their marriage vows in the church. For the future they are planning a wedding pension together.

The shooting of the feature film began in April 2006 in Flensburg . That the film was partly shot in Flensburg can already be seen in the opening credits .
