Incanto is an album released in Germany on October 24, 2008 by the singer Andrea Bocelli . It was released by Decca Records and contains mostly Neapolitan songs. The album has sold around two million copies worldwide so far.

Emergence

Bocelli met some songs in his childhood. On the occasion of the album's release , the Ruhr Nachrichten wrote that Bocelli had sung 'O Surdato' Nnammurato to his father on a regular basis and thus developed a special relationship with these songs. Bocelli describes these songs as the "sonorous pillar of life". Bocelli sang the song Un Amore Così Grande with Veronica Berti, with whom he is currently in a relationship. It took Bocelli three years to create the CD.

Andrea Bocelli presented the album, whose title means magic in German , on October 24, 2008 in Naples on the Piazza del Plebiscito to an audience of 80,000 people. Musical guests at this concert included Cecilia Bartoli .

In the spring of 2009, Bocelli appeared on the show Wetten dass ..? up and sang some of the new songs from the album.

On March 27, 2009, Bocelli toured the United Arab Emirates and presented his album in the Middle East. It was also Bocelli's stage debut in Abu Dhabi .

In September and November 2009, Bocelli performed in several English cities, including London and Liverpool .
