Ingrid Roitzsch

Ingrid Roitzsch b. Höhle (born July 30, 1940 in Munich ; † January 31, 2011 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

From 1992 to 1993 she was Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Defense .

education and profession

After High School on modern languages Gutenberg-Gymnasium in Wiesbaden in 1961 Ingrid Roitzsch began studying law and the newspaper sciences. She also spent a year at the University of Angers / France , where she obtained the Diplom de français pratique . She then began a traineeship at the Pinneberger Tageblatt and worked there as an editor from 1971 to 1980 .

Since 1970 she was a member of the CDU. From 1971 she belonged to the CDU district executive in Pinneberg and from 1981 to the CDU state executive in Schleswig-Holstein .

From 1980 to 1994 she was a member of the German Bundestag . From 1987 to 1992 she was the parliamentary manager of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group .

Roitzsch entered the Bundestag in 1980 via the Schleswig-Holstein state list and thereafter always as a directly elected member of the Pinneberg constituency . The then CDU candidate Rainer Ute Harms was unable to win against Reinhard Ueberhorst from the SPD in 1980 ; in 1982 Roitzsch was his successor as the CDU candidate for the constituency.

She began her political career in Quickborn, where she served on the School and Culture Committee from 1971 to 1977. This was followed by a membership in the committee for economy, transport and environmental issues until October 1980.
