The archipelago Igris (Romanian: Insulele Igris ) is a protected area of IUCN category IV ( bird sanctuary ) on the grounds of the community Sânpetru Mare , the Timiş County , Banat , Romania .

The Igriș archipelago is located in the far northwest of the Timiș County, on the border with Arad County and near the border with Hungary , on the right bank of the Marosch , on the area of ​​the village of Igriș , in the municipality of Sânpetru Mare .
