The Irish national cricket team tour against Afghanistan in the 2019/20 season took place in India from March 6 to March 10, 2020 . The international cricket tour was part of the 2019/20 international cricket season and included three Twenty20s . Afghanistan won the series 2−1.

prehistory

Afghanistan previously played a tour against the West Indies , Ireland a tour in the West Indies . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in India in the 2018/19 season . A test was originally planned for this tour, but the Irish Federation's financial crisis has canceled it.
