JAC was a Japanese car brand.

Brand history

The brand was introduced for automobiles in 1939 and discontinued in 1940. The manufacturer is unknown. Nihon Nainenki from Tokyo also used this abbreviation for some products, but no connection has been proven.

vehicles

The vehicles were similar to the models from the Chrysler Automobile Works . This was Chrysler's Japanese assembly plant , which had to close in 1939. It can be assumed that the remaining parts have been used.

The only model was a four-door sedan . The engine had a displacement of 3670 cm³ . It was mounted in the front of the chassis and drove the rear wheels.
