Nihon Auto Sandal Jidōsha ( Japanese 日本 オ ー ト サ ン ダ ル 自動 車 , Nihon Ōto Sandaru Jidōsha , English Japan Auto Sandal Motors ) was a manufacturer of motor vehicles from Japan .

Company history

The Tokyo company started producing automobiles in 1947 . The brand name was Auto Sandal ( オ ー ト サ ン ダ ル , Ōto Sandaru ). Production ended in 1954.

A total of about 196 vehicles were built, three of which still exist.

Small cars were on offer . The open body offered space for two people. An air-cooled single-cylinder engine with 350 cm³ displacement and 5 HP to 5.5 HP output was mounted in the rear and drove the rear wheels.
