YK Takeoka Jidōsha Kōgei ( Japanese 有限会社 タ ケ オ カ 自動 車工 芸 , Yūgen-gaisha ~ , German " Takeoka Automobile Craft ", English Takeoka Auto Craft Co. Ltd. ) is a manufacturer of scooter vehicles from Japan .
Company history
The company was founded in Toyama in 1981 . On October 1, 1982, it was registered as YK (GmbH). In 1990 the production of small cars began . The brand name is Takeoka .
In 1998 the range was expanded to include electric cars .
Products
The first model Abbey ( ア ビ ー , Abī ) was 215 cm long and weighed about 145 kg. The vehicles were powered by a 49 cm³ engine . Around 1500 of these had been sold by 1997. The current series, the Abbey Carrot , uses the water-cooled four-cylinder engine of the Yamaha CE50 scooter with 50 cm³ displacement, weighs 160 kg and reaches 60 km / h.
The Rookie ( ル ー キ ー , Rūkī ) is a three-wheeled covered electric scooter with a length of 180 cm and a weight of 110 kg and a top speed of 34 km / h.
The Milieu R ( ミ リ ュ ー R , Miryū R ) is an electric car of 215 cm in length and 295 kg with a maximum speed of 60 km / h and a range of 50 km.
The T-10 is also an electric car with a length of 224 cm, a weight of 365 kg, a top speed of 55 km / h and a range of 45 km. There is a variant called the T-10G with a 50 cm² petrol engine for long-distance journeys.
The company also launched the electric snow plow Oscha ( オ ス チ ャ , Osucha ) in 2013 .
