Toyopet ( Japanese ト ヨ ペ ッ ト , Toyopetto ) is the name of a dealer network of the Japanese Toyota group. The head office is in Tokyo .

The company has existed since 1947 and was active on the domestic market as an automobile brand in its early days . The company only used the Toyota brand name for export. It was not until the early 1970s that badge engineering was abandoned and the brand names of the parent company were gradually used until Toyopet as an automobile brand finally disappeared completely from the market in 1978. Until then, Toyopet had only been run as a joint venture with the Japanese state, which owned the majority of the shares. It was only when the state left the company that Toyota took over the company and turned it into one of its subsidiaries .

Mainly mid-range vehicles were offered under this brand name. But there were also several commercial vehicle models among them.

The following models were available under the Toyopet brand name:

One source confirms the use of the Toyopet brand name only for the period 1945-1955, while another source considers Toyopet to be part of the model name.
