Raito Automobile Company was a Japanese manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was based in Tokyo . In 1932 the production of commercial vehicles began . The brand name was Raito . In 1937 a passenger car was added to the range. Production ended in 1938.

The first model was a pick-up . It had a gasoline engine with 732 cm³ displacement and 17 hp . It was mounted in the front of the vehicle and drove the rear wheels.

The Spirit model appeared in 1938 . It was available as a two-door sedan , panel van and small truck . Nothing changed in terms of motor. The vehicles were 280 cm long.
