Jacob Vandsø Rasmussen (born May 28, 1997 in Odense ) is a Danish football player . He is under contract with AC Florence in Italy and is currently awarded to the Dutch first division club Vitesse Arnheim . He is also a former Danish youth national player.

Career

Rasmussen joined Næsby BK as a child and joined the Odense BK youth teams in 2012 . In 2014 he moved to the youth performance center of FC Schalke 04 , played for its A-youth in the UEFA Youth League , in the A-youth Bundesliga and became German champion in 2015 .

In 2016, having outgrown his youth, he moved to FC St. Pauli ; he came to 17 missions for the second team in the Regionalliga Nord . At the beginning of 2017, the defender moved to Norway for record champions Rosenborg Trondheim and made his professional debut on April 5, 2017 in a 3-0 away win on matchday two against Sandefjord Fotball . In both his first and last season he was Norwegian champion with Rosenborg. In addition, Rasmussen won the national Supercup and the state cup twice with Trondheim .

On June 10, 2017, Rasmussen made his debut for the U21s in a 2-0 friendly win against Sweden in Helsingborg . In the tournament, from which the Danish team was eliminated as third party after the group stage, he was used in the opening game against Italy.
