Ella Endlich (born Jacqueline Zebisch in Weimar on June 18, 1984 ) is a German singer and songwriter.

She started a children's career in the pop business and expanded her spectrum to include musicals, chansons and hits. In the late 1990s she had chart successes as a teen star Junia . In 2009 she was known as Kiss me, hold me, love me after the theme song from the film Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella .

Life

Origin and education

Ella Endlich was born as the daughter of the composer and music producer Norbert Endlich in Thuringia ; she followed him with her mother in 1989 from Weimar to West Berlin . At the age of ten she sang for the first time in the Hansa recording studio and was hired as a background singer in the ZDF hit parade . During her school days she received singing and dance lessons, and she filmed various videos with her own choreography in Los Angeles , Miami and London for the pop channel VIVA .

Started her career as Junia

In June 1998, at the age of 14, she received her first recording contract with Columbia Records , Sony . With reference to the month of her birth, she chose Junia as her stage name. Her first single It's Funny was released in 1999; it reached number 17 in the German single charts and number 21 in Switzerland. More singles followed. During that time she was a guest at Viva, The Dome and the Harald Schmidt Show .

In October 2001 she began her studies at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich. During her studies she took part in Kander / Ebbs And the World Goes Round , and in 2001 and 2002 she was a member of the Bregenz Festival productions of La Bohème and West Side Story . In City of Angels she was seen at the Prinzregententheater in Munich and at the Erfurt Theater . She completed her preliminary studies in classical singing and from then on gave singing lessons herself. In 2005 she received her diploma in musicals at the Bavarian Theater Academy. Vicky Hall presented her with an award for her thesis "You just have to talk about it". Singing competitions followed, in which she emerged as the winner. The Hypo-Vereinsbank competition and the Media pro Musica audience award at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg .

From 2005 to 2009 she played in the musicals Heidi (as Tinette), Sweet Charity (as Betzy), Grease (as Sandy) and Princess Lillifee and the Magic of the Rose (as Lillifee). At Best of Musicals she was seen in various roles. In the Altona Theater in Hamburg she played Hermine in the play Der Steppenwolf after Hermann Hesse . More comedic plays followed, so Sylt - a mistake of God? at the Hamburger Kammerspiele and stomach, legs, buttocks by Dietmar Loeffler .

In 2009 she changed her stage name to Ella Finally. The name is made up of the first names of her grandmother's cousins, Eleonore and Hella, and the family name of her father. In 2009 she began working closely with her father Norbert Endlich at Hansa Studios Berlin, which is why she included his last name in her future artist names. The Endlich music partnership was founded.

In November 2009, Kiss Me, Hold Me, Love Me , her first single as Ella Endlich, was released. Your German-language interpretation of the film music of Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella by the composer Karel Svoboda was the first to be authorized by his heirs. With the text by Mark Hiller, the symbiosis to a song was achieved for the first time. The song reached number 12 in the German charts. In October 2011 she released her second album, Meilenweit , which reached number 94 in the charts. In 2012 an EP called Wintercollage was released. In June 2014, their third album Die sweet Truth came on the market; At the end of 2014 she changed record label, management and producer. In 2016, the album Träume auf Asphalt was released through Universal . In February 2016 she took part in the German preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song Adrenalin .

From January to May 2018 she was a juror in the 15th season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar . In September 2018, Endlich's fifth studio album was released in confidence . It is the first album that she has released on her own music label Infinite Music and for which she has written all the lyrics.

In 2019 finally took part in the 12th season of the RTL dance show Let's Dance . She took second place with her dance partner Valentin Lusin . It achieved the highest total number of points in a relay that any participant has ever achieved.
