Jakunowska Góra ( German  Jakunowkenberg , 1938 to 1945 Jakunenberg ) is a place in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . It is a residential area of the village Jakunówko ("część miejscowości Jakunówko") within the rural municipality Pozezdrze (Possessern , 1938 to 1945 Großgarten) in the powiat Węgorzewski (district Angerburg ).

Jakunowska Góra is located in the northeast of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship , southeast of the village Jakunówko (Jakunowken , 1938 to 1945 Jakunen) and northwest of the Borkener Forest (also: Borker Heide, Polish Puszcza Borecka ). Only one country road leads from Jakunówko - past the natural monument of Diabelski Kamień (Devil's Stone) - directly to Jakunowska Góra.

The small place originally called Scharfenort consisted of only a small courtyard and became "Jakunowkenberg" from July 18, 1851, and "Jakunenberg" from June 3 and July 16, 1938. Since its inception, it was the location is a dwelling place of Jakunowken that until 1945 the district Angerburg in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia belonged. In 1905 there were 22 residents registered in Jakunowkenberg.

Since 1945, the place within southern East Prussia has belonged to Poland and is also assigned to the village Jakunówko within the rural municipality of Pozezdrze .

Both Jakunowkenberg and Jakunówken (or Jakunenberg or Jakunen) were parochialized.
