Jan Tilman Schade (born April 11, 1963 in Bonn ) is a German composer , musician , producer and artist .

Life

Schade grew up in Hoengen near Aachen and Haan near Düsseldorf , where he graduated from high school in 1982. In addition to studying at what was then the Berlin University of the Arts (majoring in violoncello), he was a member of various rock and pop groups in what was then West Berlin, such as Invisible Ray, Rubbermind Revenge, Fou Gorki etc. and was an arranger on several CD productions by the Einstürzende Neubauten and cellist involved. From 1995 he studied religious studies and communication technology at the Free University of Berlin and the Technical University of Berlin . From 2007 to 2010 he trained as a social music therapist at the Institute for Music Therapy in Berlin.

Schade worked as an arranger, musician, actor for various film, theater and art projects such as "A.Dreyblatt & the orchestra of excited strings" (USA, Berlin), "La zattera di babele" (Italy), "De rode skov" (Denmark), “7 women” (Rudolf Thome) etc. From 1986 to 1995 he composed around 30 stage music for theater productions by Peter Carp , Hans Neuenfels , Peter Wittenberg a. v. a. at home and abroad. Since 2009 he has been the managing director and partner of Artwaren GmbH, a society for species-appropriate behavior based in Bochow (Havel). He is the initiator of the “Mollandur” seminar yard near Groß Kreutz (Havel) , which offers rooms for seminars, studio recordings, cinema and dance events. Since summer 2013 he has been leading the cultural events in the Protestant Church in Bochow with the title: "Bochower Kirchklänge". Co-arranger and cellist in the Europe-wide live project: "Lament" of the "Einstürzende Neubauten" 2014–2018.
