Jean Louisa Kelly (born March 9, 1972 in Worcester , Massachusetts ) is an American actress .

life and career

In her childhood, Jean Louisa Kelly learned ballet , jazz and tap dance . She began her acting career at the age of eleven. She played the role of Annie in the play of the same name, which was performed at the Theater by the Sea in Rhode Island . She made her Broadway debut in 1987 in Into the Woods . In 1989 she played the role of Tia Russel in her first film in Alone With Uncle Buck . In the 1990s she made for MCI and various other business advertising . She also had guest appearances in several television series , such as B. at Ally McBeal , Starla und die Kristallretter and Law & Order . She was seen on German television in the US sitcom Yes, Dear , in which she played Kim Warner .

Kelly graduated from Columbia University with an English major in 1994 .

In 1997 Kelly married James Pitaro , with whom she has a son (* 2003) and a daughter (* 2006). They have been close friends since she met Jennifer Garner while working on the television film Die Glut der Demokratie.
