Jessica (Jessie) Donavan (born January 2, 1976 in Bennington) is a former American triathlete and multiple Ironman winner (2012, 2013).

Career

Jessie Donavan started her career as a professional triathlete at the end of 2011 when she was 25 at the time - after the birth of her three children.

Ironman distance since 2011

In November 2011 she started the Ironman distance for the first time in Arizona . In 2013 she was able to qualify for a starting place at the Ironman Hawaii (Ironman World Championships) for the first time.

In August 2015, she was injured in a traffic accident when she collided with a truck while training.

In September 2017 she finished third in the Ironman Chattanooga . Jessie Donavan has not appeared internationally since 2017. She lives in Shelburne with her husband and three children .
