Joachim Friedrich von Knuth (provisional)
Joachim Friedrich von Knuth (* 1642 in Mecklenburg ; † February 20, 1684 in Leizen ) was a German nobleman and provisional of the Malchow monastery . He was the heir to Leizen and is the progenitor of the main German and Dutch branches of the Knuth family.
Life
Joachim Friedrich von Knuth was born in 1609 as the son of Rittmeister Jacob Ernst von Knuth , on Leizen and Priborn and Sophie von Knuths, née Kruse, in the Mecklenburg nobility of Knuth . Joachim Friedrich's younger brothers Eckhard Christoph and Adam Levin von Knuth made careers at the Danish court.
In 1680 the brothers Joachim Friedrich, Adam Levin and Eckhard Christoph von Knuth were compared. Joachim Friedrich was awarded Gut Leizen, Adam Levin Ludorf and Sielow and Eckhard Christoph Melz and Priborn .
Marriage and offspring
In 1672 Joachim Friedrich married Christine von Wancken. The marriage had seven children. A great-grandson of his third daughter was the Greenland inspector Claus Bendeke .
