After returning from Vienna, he was elected procurator of the Johanneshospital for poor students by the cathedral chapter . In this position he campaigned for the restoration of the Neumarkt provost church, which was part of the hospital's property. After completion, the church was consecrated by him on October 21, 1700. In addition, he set up a foundation on her, from which every Saturday and Marian feasts should be celebrated and the Lauretanian litany should be sung.

Many ordinations of priests as well as several abbots and prelates are known from his pontifical activity. In addition to numerous altars, chalices and bells, he consecrated the Ottmachau parish church on September 6, 1694 .

After the death of the canon Karl von Butschky on November 13, 1700, he succeeded him as district president of Neisse. He then resided in Neisse, where he died on March 28, 1703. His body was buried in the sacrament chapel built by his brother Johann Jakob in Breslau Cathedral. His nephew and heir, Baron Lazarus Ambrosius von Brunetti, who was imperial privy councilor and chief chancellor of Silesia, erected a black marble monument for him there.
