Count Johann Franz de Paula von Schaffgotsch, Baron von und zu Kynast und Greiffenstein (born June 30, 1792 in Brno ; † November 3, 1866 ibid), Imperial Austrian General of the Cavalry .

Life

Johann Franz von Schaffgotsch came from the noble family Schaffgotsch . He was the son of Count Johann Ernst Maximilian von Schaffgotsch (* August 19, 1742, † May 27, 1825) from his second marriage to Johanna Nepomucena Candida von Blümegen (* October 3, 1765, † February 7, 1811). His brother Anton Ernst was Bishop of Brno .
