The hall church over 6 bays was built in 1841 instead of a late Gothic previous building. The church tower was destroyed by US artillery shelling in April 1945. In 1961 it was rebuilt. The church, built in neo-Romanesque forms such as arched frieze and tooth cut , extends from the apse in the northwest to the roof tower in the southeast. The roof tower has a slate-covered square tower with the tower clock . An octagonal pointed helmet with a tower ball rises on it . On the west side of the tower above the portal there is a diamond wreath - and a lion coat of arms . The nave is covered with a gable roof. The interior is covered with a wooden flat ceiling. By octagonal pillars between which diaphragm arches span, the nave is divided into three nave divided. There are galleries on three sides. The simple pulpit altar also forms the partition wall to the sacristy . The organ with 27 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built by Ludwig Ratzmann in 1842 and restored by Hey Orgelbau in 1993 . In 1961/62 the top of the tower and the interior were repaired.
