John Hawkes (actor)
John Hawkes ; actually John Morvin Perkins (born September 11, 1959 in Alexandria , Minnesota ) is an American film actor and musician .
Hawkes is a typical character actor who can be seen almost exclusively in supporting roles. He became known to the general public through films such as From Dusk Till Dawn , The Storm and Identity . He was nominated for an Oscar in 2011 for the role of the criminal Teardrop in Debra Granik's drama Winter's Bone .
