Josh MacNevin (born July 14, 1977 in Calgary , Alberta ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who last played for TPS Turku in the SM-liiga .

Career

Josh MacNevin was drawn 101st in the fourth round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils . The 1.89 m tall and 90 kg defender played for the Eisbären Regensburg in the 2nd Bundesliga from 2005 to 2007 . At the end of the season, which was by no means satisfactory in terms of sport, the polar bears made the sporty and financial "cut", so that Josh MacNevin would no longer have been used. In the 2007/2008 season, the defender played in the DEL , at ERC Ingolstadt , before moving to Sweden to the Växjö Lakers in 2008.

Between 2010 and January 2013 MacNevin played for the AIK from Stockholm in the Elitserien , where he was loaned out at the beginning of the season for tax reasons for some games at the HPK Hämeenlinna from the SM-liiga . In January 2013 MacNevin left the AIK and received a contract until the end of the season with TPS Turku from the SM-liiga.
