Antenor Junior Fernándes da Silva Vitoria , short Junior Fernándes (born April 10, 1988 in Tocopilla ), is a Chilean football player .

Career

society

Junior Fernándes went through all CD Cobreloa youth teams . At the beginning of his professional career he switched to CD Palestino . After playing there for two years, he moved to CF Universidad de Chile in 2011 . Fernándes played twelve times for Universidad and scored five goals.

For the 2012/13 season moved Fernándes in the Bundesliga to Bayer 04 Leverkusen . The Chilean could not prevail in Leverkusen and only made six appearances in the Bundesliga. In the DFB Cup he was eliminated with the team in the round of 16 against VfL Wolfsburg , in the Europa League he made six appearances and was eliminated with the club in the round of 16 against Benfica Lisbon , although he was neither in the first leg (0: 1) nor in Second leg (1: 2) was used. For the 2012/13 season he moved to Croatia's first division on loan to record champions Dinamo Zagreb . In April 2014, Dinamo used a purchase option and tied Fernándes to itself until June 30, 2018.

For the second half of the 2016/17 season he was loaned to the Turkish first division club Alanyaspor and finally committed in September 2017.
