Efecan Karaca (born November 16, 1989 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player who plays for Alanyaspor .

Career

society

Karaca began club soccer in his native Istanbul in the youth of the traditional Turkish club Galatasaray Istanbul . Here he received a professional contract in 2007, but continued to play exclusively in the reserve team. In order to enable him match practice in a professional league, he was transferred to the second division side Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor . Here he got into the starting line-up and had played 31 games by the end of the season.

In the summer of 2009 he moved to the second division club Kartalspor including the transfer fee . Although he came here regularly for one season, he left the club and moved on to league rivals Adanaspor after a year . Here he only played the first half of the season, and spent the second half of the season with city rivals Adana Demirspor .

In the summer of 2011 he returned to his hometown Istanbul and reached an agreement with the third division side Sarıyer SK . Here he experienced a successful season and recommended himself for the teams in the upper leagues.

So he switched to his former club and second division club Kartalspor in summer 2012 . After just one season, Karaca left Kartalspor and moved to Alanyaspor .

National team

Karaca played twice for the Turkish U-18 and three times for the U-19 national youth team .

After Karaca had become a regular at Alanyaspor and had been convincing over a longer period of time, he was nominated for the Turkish national team by national coach Şenol Güneş for the first time in his career in two A internationals in March 2019 . He made his international debut in the test match against Moldova on March 25, 2019.
