Anastasios Bakasetas ( Greek Αναστάσιος Μπακασέτας , first name also abbreviated Tasos Τάσος, born June 28, 1993 in Corinth ) is a Greek football player who has been playing for the Turkish first division club Alanyaspor since summer 2019 .

Career

society

Anastasios Bakasetas started his career at Asteras Tripoli before he was admitted from the youth to the professional department in 2010. In the first half of the 2010/11 season he was used five times, four of them as a substitute. Only in his league game debut on November 28, 2010 against Skoda Xanthi , he was on the field from the start, before he was substituted for Emmanuel Fernandes Francou in the 63rd minute . In the second half of the season Bakasetas was loaned to the second division side Thrasyvoulos Fylis and was already successful in his second game against Ethnikos Asteras with one goal, which remained the only one after ten league appearances. In July 2011 he returned to Asteras Tripoli.

In the 2011/12 season, Anastasios Bakasetas still couldn't find a way to the starting line-up and had to be content with a few substitutions. But this season he also scored the first goal for Asteras, in the 2-0 win over Panionios Athens he was in the starting line-up and scored the 1-0 in the 45th minute. The existence as a bench press continued through the seasons 2012/13 and 2013/14, in these two years Bakasetas only made 19 league appearances and contributed two goals. Therefore, in January 2014, the award was made to Aris Thessaloniki , who at the time was in acute need of relegation. As with Thrasyvoulos Fylis, he scored twice for Aris in his second league game against PAE Levadiakos . Nevertheless, Aris lost the game 3: 4 after taking the lead 3-1. After Mavroudis Bougaidis was sent off in the 77th minute, the opponent got three more goals from the 84th minute to make the final score 3: 4. Ultimately, Aris had to relegate to the second division at the end of the season. He then played for Panionios Athens for a year and a half and moved on to AEK Athens in 2016 . There he was able to celebrate the Greek championship at the end of the 2017/18 season. In the summer of 2019 he was signed by the Turkish first division club Alanyaspor .

National team

Bakasetas represented his home country in the U-19 national team, where he and his teammate Nikolaos Skondras took part in the 2011 U-19 European Football Championship . There he played in the group stage against Ireland (1: 2), Romania (1: 0) and the Czech Republic (0: 1).

In 2013 he played for the Greek U-20 national team and won two appearances at the U-20 World Cup in 2013 against Mali in the group phase and against Uzbekistan in the round of 16.

Bakasetas was part of the Greek U-21 national team and played four international matches without scoring.

He has also been active in the senior national team since 2016 and has played 25 games so far.
