Juri Ide ( Japanese 井 出 樹 里 Ide Juri ; born June 9, 1983 in Setagaya , Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese triathlete and Olympian (2008).

Career

Juri Ide started her first triathlon competition in 2006.

In 2008 she started in Beijing at the Olympic Games and finished fifth.

She is a two-time Japanese champion (2008 and 2009). Juri Ide competes in the Olympic distance (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running).

In October 2015 she became Vice State Champion Triathlon.

In September 2016, the 33-year-old finished 39th in the last race of the season as the fifth-best Japanese woman, 46th in the annual ranking of the world championship racing series on the short distance triathlon.
