Kan'onji ( Japanese 観 音 寺 市 , - shi , literally: Kannon Temple ) is a city in Kagawa Prefecture in Japan .
history
The current city was created on October 11, 2005 by merging the old city of Kan'onji with the Chō Ōnohara ( 大野 原 町 , -chō ) and Toyohama ( 豊 浜 町 , -chō ) in Mitoyo County .
