Mitoyo ( Japanese 三 豊 市 , - shi ) is a city in Kagawa Prefecture in Japan .
history
Mitoyo was created on January 1, 2006 through the merger of all seven parishes of the former Mitoyo district : Mino ( 三 野 町 , -chō ), Nio ( 仁 尾 町 , -chō ), Saita ( 財 田 町 , -chō ), Takase ( 高 瀬 町 , -chō ), Takuma ( 詫 間 町 , -chō ), Toyonaka ( 豊 中 町 , -chō ) and Yamamoto ( 山 本 町 , -chō ).
