The Canton Blois-2 is a French canton in the Arrondissement Blois in Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; its main town is Blois . Michel Fromet ( PS ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 2004 . The official name according to INSEE is Blois 2e Canton .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton Blois-2 included the four municipalities Blois , Cellettes , Chailles and Saint-Gervais-la-Forêt . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 4102.
