La Chaussee-Saint-Victor is a French commune in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . La Chaussée-Saint-Victor belongs to the arrondissement of Blois and the canton of Blois-2 . The 4503 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) are called Chausséens .

geography

The municipality is a banlieue northeast of Blois and lies on the Loire between Orléans and Tours . The Loire Valley here is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. La Chaussée-Saint-Victor is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Denis-sur-Loire in the north and northeast, Vineuil in the south and east and Blois in the west.

The former route nationale 152 runs through the municipality .
