Valencisse is about nine kilometers west of Blois on the Cisse . Valencisse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Herbault in the north and north-west, Saint-Lubin-en-Vergonnois in the north, Saint-Sulpice-de-Pommeray in the north-east, Blois in the east, Valloire-sur-Cisse in the south and Santenay in the west.
history
On January 1, 2016, the municipality of Valencisse emerged as Commune nouvelle from the previously independent municipalities of Molineuf and Orchaise . On January 1, 2017, Chambon-sur-Cisse was also incorporated.
