Saint-Claude-de-Diray is a French municipality with 1783 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Blois and is part of the canton of Chambord (until 2015: canton of Vineuil ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Claudins .

Saint-Claude-de-Diray is about seven kilometers northeast of Blois . The north-western municipal boundary forms the Loire . Saint-Claude-de-Diray is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Menars in the north, Montlivault in the northeast, Huisseau-sur-Cosson in the south and east, Mont-près-Chambord in the south and southeast, Vineuil in the southwest and Saint-Denis-sur- Loire in the northwest.
Saint-Claude-de-Diray is part of the Cour-Cheverny wine region .
