Lestiou is a French municipality with 290 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Blois and is part of the canton of La Beauce (until 2015: canton of Mer ). The inhabitants are called gobions .

geography

Lestiou is about 26 kilometers northeast of Blois on the edge of the Beauce . Lestiou is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tavers in the north and east, Avaray in the south, Séris in the west and north-west and Laveau in the north-west.
