Conan is a French municipality with 175 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Blois and is part of the canton of La Beauce (until 2015: canton of Marchenoir ).

Conan is located about 18 kilometers north-northwest of Blois on the edge of the Beauce . Conan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Rhodon in the north and north-west, Boisseau in the north and north-east, Maves in the east, Averdon in the south and Champigny-en-Beauce in the west and south-west.
