The Canton Canet-en-Roussillon was 2015 a French constituency in the district Perpignan , in the department of Pyrenees-Orientales and the region Languedoc-Roussillon . Its main town was Canet-en-Roussillon . Jean-Claude Torrens ( UMP ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 2011 .
The canton was 58.05 km² and had 23,061 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012), which corresponds to a population density of 397 inhabitants per km².
