The canton Elne was 2015 a French constituency in the district Perpignan , in the department of Pyrenees-Orientales and the region Languedoc-Roussillon . Its main town was Elne . The last representative in the General Council of the Département was Marcel Mateu ( DVG ) from 2001 to 2015 .
