The canton of Saint-Laurent-de-la- Salanque was 2015 a French constituency in the district Perpignan , in the department of Pyrenees-Orientales and the region Languedoc-Roussillon . Its main town was Saint-Laurent-de-la-Salanque . Joseph Puig ( MoDem ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2011 to 2015 . The canton was 75.17 km² and had 23,314 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012).
