geography

Course and description

The Kapellenbach rises from a small spring immediately north of Isling . In the upper reaches the brook is also known as Islinger Bach . He first flows in a northeasterly direction from, is the host and Weidmarsbach , and the stone fountain ditch fed and flows north of Burkheim over. This is where the Tauschendorfer Bach flows in , and the Buchgraben a little downstream . The Kapellenbach slowly changes its direction of flow to the east in this area. North of the Pfaffendorfer Chapel, the Rothentalbach, the last of the six tributaries, flows into the Kapellenbach. After 6.12 kilometers of flow, the Kapellenbach flows into the Weismain in Röhrig . The lower course of the brook runs from Weißmainer Straße in an artificial brook bed that was created in the mid- 2000s .
