Karl-Heinz Hausmann (born September 4, 1943 ) is a former German soccer player .

Player career

Karl-Heinz Hausmann began his playing career in 1962 at the age of 18 at Wacker 04 Berlin . There he became a regular player straight away in his first season in the Berlin city league and managed to stay up with his club. In the premier season of the newly introduced Regionalliga Berlin , Hausmann retained his status and barely missed promotion with Wacker. In 1964/65 , the Reinickendorfer were fourth despite a negative point relationship. If you had hoped to play for promotion in the future, these hopes were suddenly destroyed by Hertha BSC's forced relegation in 1965. Since the old lady was too strong for the local competition, but failed twice in the promotion relegation, Hausmann and Wacker had to be content with decent but not outstanding placings in the following years: 1966 : 4th place, 1967 : 6th place and again 4th place in 1968 .

In 1969, after playing 162 out of 170 league games for Wacker in six years, Hausmann moved to Hertha BSC, which had made it to the Bundesliga on the third attempt. Under Helmut Kronsbein Hausmann played two short appearances in the 1968/1969 season against Kickers Offenbach and at 1. FC Kaiserslautern , where he came on in Kaiserslautern in the second half and was taken off the field again after 30 minutes. At the end of the season, Hertha just managed to stay in the league.

After this season, which was disappointing for Hausmann, he returned to the regional league and signed a contract with Blau-Weiß 90 . There he immediately became a regular again in the 1969/70 season and achieved a good fourth place with blue and white. In the following season , this performance was even topped, but the Mariendorfer missed by one point behind Hausmann's ex-club Wacker, the entry into the promotion relegation. Also in 1972 Blau-Weiß 90 missed the runner-up championship by one point behind Tasmania . In the 1972/73 season , however, Karl-Heinz Hausmann and his team were only just able to secure the championship of the regular season and then keep the competition at a distance in the championship round. As a result, Blau-Weiß 90 qualified for the promotion round . In a group with Fortuna Köln , FC St. Pauli , Mainz 05 and Karlsruher SC , however, only one victory was achieved and in the end the disappointing last place was taken. At the end of his playing career, Hausmann finished third behind Tennis Borussia and Wacker 04 in the 1973/74 season before ending his career in the summer of 1974 after five years as a regular at Blau-Weiß.

His son Christian was also a professional footballer and played 106 times in the Bundesliga for Bayer 04 Leverkusen and 1. FC Nürnberg .
