Although Karl Schmoll von Eisenwerth had been the landowner in the Austrian Easter mountain near Braunau am Inn since 1924 and was also in close contact with aristocrats, his family had never received a letter of nobility and was therefore called Schmoll von Eisenwerth without justification . It was not until 1910 that the Württemberg Ministry of Justice approved him to use the name Schmoll von Eisenwerth as his real name, after he had submitted a request to continue the name he had used the year before.
