Catholic city church

Stadtkirche is a more recent form of organization of Catholic parishes . It is a community of interests of different parishes in a city ( city parishes ). Some of the city churches are also independent deaneries .

Germany

• Catholic City Church Dortmund (63 parishes, among others, Dortmund deanery of the Archdiocese of Paderborn ; structural reform of the middle level 2006)
• Catholic City Church Nuremberg (46 parishes and curates, Archdiocese of Bamberg - Deanery Nuremberg / Diocese of Eichstätt - Deanery Nuremberg-South , the border runs through the city)
• Stadtkirche Landshut with four parishes of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising - but includes neither the episcopal Regensburg parishes nor the parish of St. Margaret in Landshut- Achdorf

Austria

• Carinthia : City churches have existed for the two cities of Villach and Klagenfurt since the diocesan synod of the Diocese of Gurk in 1971/72 :
