Kenneth Chipungu

Kenneth Chipungu (born December 10, 1953 ) is a politician in Zambia .

Kenneth Chipungu was District Commissioner of Luangwa and then of Chongwe , both apparently directly after Charles Shawa , whom he replaced. In this role, he was very committed to being connected to the national power grid, reached branches of banks and founded a radio station.

In the 2006 election in Zambia , Kenneth Chipungu was able to win the mandate of the Rufunsa constituency in the Chongwe district of Lusaka province in the National Assembly for the Movement for Multiparty Democracy . In October 2006 he was appointed Minister of the Northwest Province. In the parliamentary elections in Zambia in 2011 , he successfully defended his mandate in Rufunsa.

Private life

Kenneth Chipungu is married with six children.
