Sydney Chisanga

Sydney Chisanga (born October 30, 1970 ) is a politician in Zambia .

Sydney Chisanga was District Commissioner for Mkushi . He was sacked by President Levy Mwanawasa on political grounds. In the 2006 elections in Zambia , Sydney Chisanga was able to win the mandate of the Mkushi South constituency in the National Assembly for the Movement for Multi-Party Democracy . In October 2006 he was appointed Minister of the Central Province. In 2011 he was stripped of his parliamentary seat by the Supreme Court. Judge Elizabeth Muyovwe said he was guilty of electoral fraud by donating money to several women's associations during his campaign for the 2011 election. Davis Chisupa, a member of the Patriotic Front , was then given his seat in parliament .
