Kermit Murdock (born March 20, 1908 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania , † February 11, 1981 in Tenafly , New Jersey ) was an American actor.

Life

Kermit Murdock began his career as a theater actor. He made his first appearances on Broadway in late 1931 . In the 1940s he was increasingly used in radio series. He had several appearances in the successful science fiction series X Minus One and a leading role in the short-lived series The Whisper Men .

His film and television career didn't start until the late 1950s. From 1961 he played the prosecutor Frank Larkin in six episodes of the Preston & Preston series . In 1969 he was seen - also as a prosecutor - in Portal into the Past , the penultimate episode of the Spaceship Enterprise series.
