Kevin Sullivan (athlete)

Kevin Roy Sullivan (born March 20, 1974 in Brantford , Ontario ) is a Canadian medium and long distance runner .

Life

At the World Athletics Championships in 1993 in Stuttgart, he reached the semi-finals over 1500 m . Over the same distance, he won silver the following year at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria and was fifth at the 1995 World Cup in Gothenburg.

He also reached the semi-finals in the 1500 m at the 1997 World Cup in Athens, was eliminated from the 1999 World Cup in Seville and finished fifth at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.

At the World Championships 2001 World Championships in Edmonton 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis, 2005 World Championships in Helsinki and 2007 World Championships in Osaka as well as at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and 2008 in Beijing , he was eliminated in the semifinals over 1500 m while he was in the Commonwealth Games in Manchester in 2002 and Melbourne in 2006 each finished seventh. In Beijing he also started over 5000 m , but was eliminated in the preliminary run.

He won national titles eight times over 1500 m (1992–1995, 2000, 2003–2005) and once in cross country .

Kevin Sullivan is 1.81 m tall and weighs 68 kg. He starts for the Windsor Legion and is trained by Julie Henner. Since August 8, 1998, the graduate is University of Michigan with the obstacle runner Karen Harvey Sullivan married, with whom he in Urbana ( Illinois lives).
