The Kingdom 5KR is an 85.65 meter long mega yacht owned by the Saudi prince al-Walid ibn Talal . Your berth is the Antibes marina .

description

She was designed by Jon Bannenberg in 1980 and built by the Italian shipyard Benetti for $ 100 million. The original interior was designed by Luigi Sturchio .

The yacht was built for the Saudi billionaire Adnan Khashoggi , who named her after his daughter Nabila. At the time of construction, she was one of the largest motor yachts in the world. In the James Bond filmNever Say Never ”, she was the villain Largo's yacht (played by Klaus Maria Brandauer ) under the name Flying Saucer .

Kashoggi sold the Nabila in 1988 to Hassanal Bolkiah , the Sultan of Brunei , who in turn sold it to Donald Trump for $ 29 million . This renamed the ship after renovation work in Trump Princess .

When Trump ran into financial problems, he sold the ship to al-Walid ibn Talal in 1991. Different sources give a purchase price of 20 million US dollars or 40 million. Walid named the ship after his investment company ( Kingdom Holding ), his lucky number 5 and his children's initials in Kingdom 5KR .

The Kingdom 5KR is 13.25 meters wide, has a draft of 4.72 meters and a tank volume of 515,000 liters. It is powered by two 2,200- kilowatt engines and has a top speed of 20 knots . The ship is designed for a crew of 48.

At the time of construction, the ship had five decks, a nightclub , a cinema with twelve seats and two double beds, eleven opulent suites and a helipad . The chimneys were placed sideways to enable a swimming pool and two tender boats to be placed on deck.
