Kleinhelmsdorf is a district of the city of Osterfeld in the Burgenland district in Saxony-Anhalt .

Kleinhelmsdorf is located directly on the Federal Motorway 9 at the Droyßig junction . The road 198 records the village traffic-wise. The corridor of the district lies on the border with Thuringia . Lindau , Rudelsdorf and Großhelmsdorf are the neighboring towns in Thuringia.

history

The village was first mentioned in a document in 1350.

On March 1, 2004, the towns of Kleinhelmsdorf and Weickelsdorf were merged to form the municipality of Heidegrund . This was again incorporated into Osterfeld in 2010 .
